Mark Ives

Mark has over 30 years’ experience in Football Governance and Regulation
Mark retired from his previous role as CEO of the National Football League in April 2025 having joined the League in January 2021 following 19 years at The Football Association where he held the position of Head of Judicial Services responsible for Governance and Discipline processes across the game from the Premier League to the very grassroots level.
He was also a member on The FA Council representing the National League System and served on both the National League System Board and the National Game Board as well as an observer on the Professional Game Board.
On leaving the Football Association in July 2020, Mark formed a Company, Sport Integrity Matters Limited, aimed to provide regulatory support and representation to Sports Governing Bodies, Clubs and Participants across a variety of sports.
Prior to his role at The FA, Mark was Chief Executive of Hertfordshire Football Association until his appointment with The Football Association and now has over 35 years-experience in Sports Governance and Regulation. He currently serves as Director of Administration at the Huntingdonshire Football Association.
He enjoys all sports and is still an active football referee having qualified in 1985 as well as a keen golfer.
